Due to an unexpected malfunction in our fire sprinkler system during an extended period of freezing temperatures in mid-January, George Washington Inn experienced significant flooding to the interior of the building. As a result, we have had to close to guests for the remainder of 2024 and likely into early 2025. The extensive clean-up process has been completed, and we anticipate the restoration will begin in early July. Until we have a more definitive restoration timeline, we are unable to accept reservations. We understand the impact this may have on your plans, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

We are committed to rebuilding and restoring George Washington Inn in all its glory. Our goal is to recreate the same charm and ambiance that have made us a cherished destination for travelers from around the world.
